As our new assessor, you will join our friendly team at our Manchester dealership which will see you working:
One day per week, days/hours to be discussed at interview
Salary – £16.75 per hour

As an Irtec Assessor at Motus Commercials in Manchester we will be looking for you to be able to demonstrate:
- Minimum 5 years automotive experience
- 2 years Assessing experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Organised & competent record keeper
Assessors should have a good working knowledge of the Vehicle Inspection techniques and the current DVSA Inspection manual - High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Computer literate
Main Duties will be
Coordination and delivery of Irtec technical assessments of internal HGV Technicians, ensure industry legislative requirements are met.
- Register candidates with the Institute of Motor Industry
- Administration to request certification of the candidate
- Liaise with candidates to ensure they are fully informed of the inspection process, ensuring support is provided to make them comfortable and at ease
- Provide feedback as required to candidates
- Assessors must ensure that their technical knowledge is kept up to date to the level they wish to assess through Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
