Motus Commercials located in Barnsley is on the lookout for a dedicated Auto Electrician to join our friendly team providing exceptional levels of service to our customers. The position will see you working:
5 days per week Monday to Friday
Week 1 - 7.00am - 16.15pm
Week 2 - 07.45 - 17.00pm
Salary - £38410.56

As an Auto Electrician at Motus Commercials in Barnsley we will be looking for you to be able to demonstrate:
• NVQ or Equivalent in Automotive repairs
• Own Tools
• General mechanical ability.
• Enthusiastic, Team Player, Flexible.
It would be advantageous if you had:
• DAF product experience.
Main duties will be:
We require an experienced HGV Auto Electrician who can ensure our automotive customers vehicles are back on road within the shortest time possible. As our Auto Electrician you will be required to repair and prep vehicles or components using the tools in a safe and proper manner, efficiently, within the allocated time and to the required standard.
• Diagnose. observe, recognise and report on vehicle or component defects or symptoms of impending failure.
• Trace and repair vehicle faults on vehicles using diagnostic best practice and logical thinking.
• Prep vehicles to required standards, installing additional lighting, Microwaves and accessories etc
• To attend recognised courses of instruction as and when required and to assist in the training of apprentices upon assignment.
• To maintain a high standard of cleanliness within the working area and a presentable personal appearance whilst always observing the Group Health & Safety and Environmental Policy.
• To report any broken or faulty equipment to your Supervisor/Manager in line with our Group Health & Safety Policy.
